I am always interested in hearing from motivated PhD students and postdoctoral researchers with backgrounds in machine learning, computer vision, remote sensing, computational geosciences, numerical mathematics, or astrophysics. The BuckAI Observatory works at the intersection of AI and the natural and mathematical sciences — if you are excited about applying deep learning to large scientific datasets to address real research challenges, I would love to hear from you.
Current openings are particularly in coastal bathymetry via physics-informed AI, satellite-based monitoring of deforestation and agroforestry in Africa, and computational modeling of natural hydrogen reservoirs.
